Consulting. Mulberry Technologies, Inc., provides consulting services in many facets of the creation and implementation of XML applications. We typically work intensely with a client’s team for a short time, then provide as-needed support as their new system begins to work for them and they learn to maintain and extend it. We know we have been successful when clients stand up at conferences to advocate technologies we helped them begin to use.

Design. Mulberry has a reputation for designing reliable, stable, functional applications that work. We are strong advocates of emerging standards and active in their development, but we stay a step or two back from the bleeding edge, and we don’t aim to show off our applications at conferences. Our XML DTDs and schemas are practical, clearly documented, and useable with any XML tool. We want your content to be the star.

IV&Vs. There is no substitute for a second pair of eyes, and an experienced eye is even better. We provide a “look over your shoulder” – for each other, as well as for clients. The earlier someone says “It would work better if ...”, the less it costs to make the change.

Classes. Client self-sufficiency is an important goal for us. Our XML training, XSLT training, and other classes teach the technologies themselves – not just the syntax, and not particular vendors’ products or packages. Our hands-on classes are small so that we can give personal attention to each participant. Our instructors are doers who teach from experience with real working issues.
