• Getting started is easy
• Anybody can learn this (secretary, editorial staff, lawyer)
• XSLT is a declarative, side-effect free language
  • processes “differently”
  • templates recurse all by themselves
• If programmers have a procedural background,
  they may have some habits to “unlearn”
